That's a great install...do my eyes deceive me or do you have two water temperature senders on that motor? |
Thanks Si. Yes, the 2.8 V6 is a nice fit, even the steering gear and servo are left completely intact. The unused Ford temp sensor is just there to stop the water getting out _________________ Tiger 260 Mk1

I`ve just fitted these mesh filters, bought from a firm called WEBCON. They cost £68.00 for 4, abit pricey but they look the biz - and work! Number 3 is a bit tight as you would expect, But they also do shorter Ram pipes 25 mm long. I`ll see how it goes with this set up first.

How's this for how not to do it! Twin Stromberg's (SU type) sitting at an angle so the dashpot oil won't stray put and the rert one has the filter fitted on a mini right angle pipe held on with one bolt( thus blocking the inlet) so that the filter clears the stay.
Not my work I hasten to add, that's the way it was when I bought it. Am about to fit a twin-choke Weber on another manifold as the acceleration is poor and these are crap.
