I have just purchased an Alpine and the heater blower doesn’t work very well, on investigation the wiring has been modified changing it to a single speed (probably as the only one that works and its slow!), does anyone have a wiring diagram for how it should be, it doesn’t seem to be covered in the manual?
Currently demisting with a cloth!

Its very simple, one wire goes directly from the switch (2nd position) to the motor, a second wire runs from the switch (1st position) to one terminal on the green 'dropper' resistor (the other terminal on the resistor goes to the motor). Of course you will already have a live feed wire to the switch as well.

Many thanks, that's a great help, all the wires have been cut off the resistor, with now one motor wire to the switch the other to earth. Or at least thats what it looks like!
